Hidden Tribes

In late 2018, "More in Common" launched the year-long project, Hidden Tribes of America, to better understand the forces that drive political polarization and tribalism in the United States. The Hidden Tribes 160-page REPORT presents the findings of a large-scale national survey. It provides substantial evidence of deep polarization and growing tribalism. It shows that this polarization is rooted in something deeper than political opinions and disagreements over policy. But it also provides some evidence for optimism, showing that 77 percent of Americans believe our differences are not so great that we cannot come together… The original report is quite extensive and most likely a lot to wade through for most folks. Keep America Strong has created an Abridged version that is only 16 pages, highlighting some of the most salient points and charts. KAS has also contributed some minor commentary for additional consideration. We encourage readers to share the wealth of information uncovered in this report. WE…the "Exhausted Majority" must prevail, digging deeper and prioritizing politics. We can longer idly remain complacent as the extremist tribes dictate our future. te 2018, "More in Common" launched the year-long project, Hidden Tribes of America, to better understand the forces that drive political polarization and tribalism in the United States.
